Editorial Policy
Last updated: 28th December, 2025
This Editorial Policy governs all news articles, blog posts, guides, features, commentary, and educational content (“Editorial Content”) published by Muay Thai Records (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Our goal is to produce accurate, experience-driven, expert-led content that serves the global Muay Thai community.
1. Commitment to Accuracy, Experience & Expertise
Editorial Content is produced by writers, editors, and contributors with real-world Muay Thai experience, industry expertise, verified knowledge of the sport, and/or direct involvement in the Muay Thai community. Our content prioritises accuracy, lived experience, firsthand observations, and expert review.
2. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently. Fighters, gyms, promotions, advertisers, partners, and external parties have no control over what we write, how we report, or how topics are covered.
3. Accuracy & Source Standards
We rely on event broadcasts, official announcements, promoter or gym statements, verified social media posts, trusted industry sources, firsthand experience, and subject-matter expertise. We aim for accuracy but do not guarantee completeness and may make errors that will be corrected when verified.
4. Updates, Revisions & Corrections
We may update Editorial Content for accuracy, new information, relevance, or clarity. Corrections may be made when evidence supports change. We are not obligated to update or correct content but may do so when appropriate.
5. Objectivity, Fairness & Neutrality
We strive for balanced reporting. Opinions and analysis are clearly indicated and reflect the writer’s perspective, not the official stance of the Company. We avoid bias toward any fighter, gym, or promotion.
6. Expertise in Guides & Educational Content
Guides and instructional material are created by individuals with technical knowledge, coaching or competitive experience, or verified understanding of Muay Thai training methods. Such content is for educational purposes only and not professional or medical advice.
7. Ownership & Reuse by Third Parties
Third parties may quote limited portions of Editorial Content only with clear attribution to “Muay Thai Records” and a direct backlink to the original content. Republishing, rewriting, or reproducing substantial content without permission is prohibited.
8. Conflicts of Interest
Writers and editors must disclose relationships with fighters, gyms, or promotions. Individuals with conflicts may not cover related topics unless approved and transparently disclosed if relevant.
9. Handling Sensitive Topics
We do not publish content that is defamatory, knowingly false, harmful to minors, discriminatory, exploitative, or misleading. We maintain ethical reporting standards suited to combat sports.
10. Transparency in Sponsored or Affiliate Content
Sponsored articles, paid placements, or affiliate-related content are clearly labelled, editorially independent, and subject to the same accuracy and quality standards as all other content.
11. Contact & Corrections
Individuals may request corrections or raise editorial concerns by contacting info[@]muaythairecords.com and providing details, evidence, and supporting context. The Company may update or decline requests at its discretion.
12. Editorial Discretion
The Company retains full editorial authority to publish, revise, update, prioritise, or remove any Editorial Content at any time.
