When Did ONE Championship Begin Sanctioning Kickboxing?
ONE Championship officially began promoting Kickboxing bouts in 2018 following the launch of ONE Super Series, its dedicated striking division for Kickboxing and Muay Thai.
The first ONE Championship Kickboxing World Champion was crowned on May 10, 2019, when Thailand’s Petchdam Petchyindee defeated Algeria’s Elias Mahmoudi to win the inaugural ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Title.
Since then, ONE Championship has promoted Kickboxing world title bouts featuring fighters from major international organisations and promotions across the sport.
