The basics
Choose a winner
Select the fighter you believe will win before predictions close for that fight.
Wait for the official result
Predictions are settled after the official fight result has been added to Muay Thai Records.
Climb the rankings
Correct predictions improve your record and help you move higher in the country and global rankings.
Predictions
Making your picks
You may make a prediction on any fight that is currently open. You do not need to predict every available fight.
Only one fighter may be selected for each fight. A prediction cannot be placed on a draw or another result unless that option is specifically shown.
You may change your selection while predictions remain open. Your most recent saved selection will be used as your final pick.
Always check that your prediction shows as saved before leaving the page.
Deadlines
When predictions close
Every fight has a prediction deadline. Once that deadline has passed, new predictions and changes will no longer be accepted.
Deadlines may be adjusted when an event schedule changes. Predictions can also be closed early when necessary to protect the fairness of the game.
Late predictions are not accepted
Technical issues, slow connections or forgetting to submit your pick will not normally extend a deadline.
Results
How predictions are settled
Your pick is marked as a win when your selected fighter is declared the official winner.
Your pick is marked as a loss when the opposing fighter is declared the official winner.
Cancelled, postponed, overturned or unresolved fights may be marked as void and excluded from player records.
Special outcomes
Draws, no contests and changed results
If a fight ends in a draw or no contest, predictions may be voided unless the game offered that outcome as a selectable option.
When an official result is later overturned, the prediction result and affected rankings may also be updated.
Muay Thai Records may correct incorrectly entered results, duplicate fights or other clear data errors.
Rankings
Leaderboards and ratings
Player rankings are based on eligible settled predictions and the rating system used by the game.
Your position can move up or down as new results are settled and other players make predictions.
Country rankings are based on the country associated with your account. Global rankings include all eligible players.
Correct pick
Rating may rise
Incorrect pick
Rating may fall
Private groups
Competing with friends
Players may create or join private groups to compare their predictions with friends, gyms or other communities.
Joining a private group does not remove you from the country or global rankings.
Group owners are responsible for sharing invitation links only with the people they want to admit.
Fair play
Keep the competition fair
Use only one personal account unless permission has been given.
Do not exploit bugs, manipulate deadlines or attempt to alter predictions after they have closed.
Accounts involved in cheating, abuse or deliberate manipulation may be restricted or removed from rankings.
Administration
Final decisions
These rules may be updated as the game develops. Important changes will apply from the date they are published.
Muay Thai Records may make reasonable decisions where an unusual situation is not specifically covered by these rules.
