Nadaka Retains Atomweight Muay Thai Title with Decision Win over Songchainoi

Published: By:

Nadaka Yoshinari successfully defended his ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title with a decision victory over Songchainoi Kiatsongrit at ONE Samurai 1, held at the Ariake Arena.

The bout, contested over five rounds at 52.2kg (115 lbs), saw Nadaka maintain his unbeaten run in ONE Championship, moving to 5-0 in the promotion. The Japanese fighter controlled the contest across the rounds to secure a decision win in his first title defence.

Nadaka originally claimed the belt on 16 November 2025 with a decision victory over Numsurin Chor Ketwina at ONE 173 in Denver.

Prior to joining ONE, Nadaka built an undefeated 8–0 record in the Rajadamnern World Series, where he won the Rajadamnern Stadium Super Flyweight title and then defended it three times.

Songchainoi entered the contest with a 10-1 record in ONE Championship, including consistent performances on the promotion’s Friday Fights cards. This bout marked both his first title opportunity and his first appearance on a numbered ONE event card outside of that series.

Following the result, Songchainoi’s ONE record moves to 10-2, while Nadaka continues his undefeated run and retains the Atomweight Muay Thai title.
