Lyndon Knowles Set to Compete on ONE Championship

British Muay Thai standout Lyndon Knowles is set to compete on ONE Championship marking a major move for the three-time WBC World champion.

Knowles, who is the UK’s number one heavyweight as of August 2024, has built a strong reputation throughout his career with notable victories over Simon Mendes and Alexandr Savin.

Lyndon is no stranger to ONE, having been in Jonathan Haggerty's corner alongside his brother and coach, Chris Knowles, when Haggerty defeated Nong-O for the ONE Bantamweight World Title. Chris, one of the UK’s top coaches and trainers, has played a crucial role in developing many top Muay Thai fighters including brothers Jonathan and Freddie Haggerty, along with Liam Nolan and Sevket Cerkez, all of whom have competed on ONE Championship.

The current ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Champion, Roman Kryklia, sits at the top of the division, having dominated the weight class in both Muay Thai and Kickboxing.

ONE Championship has yet to officially announce the terms of Knowles’ contract, but his inclusion in the promotion signals another high-level British talent stepping onto the global stage.
