Marc Campbell of Masda Gym in Liverpool claimed the ISKA Muay Thai Flyweight World Title with a decision victory over Imrane Iklil at Roar Fighting Championship 34 this weekend.
The title bout took place following an earlier incident in the crowd that resulted in the evacuation of all spectators from the venue. As a result, Campbell and Iklil contested the fight without an audience present.
The bout went the scheduled distance, with Campbell doing enough across the rounds to secure the decision and the ISKA Flyweight World Title.
Imrane Iklil accepted the fight on just five days’ notice, stepping in to challenge for the world title at short notice.
