Shannon Gardiner successfully defended her WBC Muay Thai Super-Featherweight World Title for the second time with a unanimous decision victory over Claire Rankine on Muay Thai Super Series 3 on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, in Perth, Australia.
Gardiner faced a highly ranked challenger in Rankine, who entered the bout as the division’s number one contender. Rankine was the first Scottish female fighter to compete at Lumpinee Stadium and has previously fought on ONE Friday Fights, LWC Super Champ, and Fairtex Fight.
Following a competitive contest, the judges awarded Gardiner the win via unanimous decision adding another belt to Gardiner’s impressive collection.
